Dicetron Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Dicetron game for Android (com.dicetron.game). Dicetron has
no accounts, no ads and no in-app purchases. It collects no personal information such as your
name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
Data stored on your device
Your saved run, run history, achievements and settings are kept in the app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand how many people play and how far runs get, the Android app uses Google Analytics for Firebase, a service provided by Google. When enabled, it collects:
- App usage events: when the app is first opened, when a session starts, and time spent in the app.
- A summary of each finished run: whether it was won or lost, how far it reached, the dice set, difficulty, the boss faced and the scores.
- A random app-instance identifier generated on install, which is not linked to your identity.
- Device information such as model, operating system version, language and screen size.
- Approximate region (country or city level), derived by Google from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
This data is used only to improve the game. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not combined with any other data. It is sent encrypted and retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Google's handling of it is described in Google's Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Turning it off
Open Settings in the game and switch off Share anonymous usage. Collection stops immediately and stays off across launches. Uninstalling the app also resets the app-instance identifier.
Children
Dicetron is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
